There are three levels of leadership we all must attain to see God do great things in our lives.  The first level, level one, is learning to lead yourself.  This is the issue of character.  You must decide to live above the devastating effects of sin.  You can choose to live higher than you are by telling yourself "I am better than this." Level two leadership is doing the right things.  Are you doing what you already know to do?  90% of God's will is already spelled out in His word. Do what you already know to do.  The third level is only possible if we are doing the other two:  moving in the Spirit.  This is where you are not giving in to sin (level 1), you are doing the right things (level 2), and God is speaking to you because you have proven trustworthy with His will.  When God speaks to you at this level, it will always require faith.
