I am incredibly thankful for my 3 awesome sons who are quickly becoming incredible men. I needed to read this right now as I sit 'fuming' over little things they have recently done--thanks for putting this out there!I am also amazingly thankful where God has brought me in the past year. It is truly miraculous--now part of core leadership of a church plant?! God is awesome!!! I can't wait to see what He does next!

Pastor Bill, I saw your post and wanted to share a recent experience. I am a missionary and have been for 4 years now. I am on staff with a school called Gatways Beyond International-Cyprus. Every year I have to raise funds and find supporters for me to live overseas and do humanitarian aid work. I have never worried about finances, because God always provides for me. The testimony of this year is my plane ticket. My school was paid for about two weeks ago, but I still needed money for my plane ticket. I was sitting in my living room writing my support letter and believing God for the finances to purchase my plane ticket. My friend called me to ask if I would be attending hometeam that night, she said she and her brother had something to give to me. Keep in mind I hadn't finished my support letter yet. That night when I got to hometeam I was presented with a card and $250. What a blessing. Within the next week through various members of my hometeam and Bay Area I had bought my plane ticket and had money left over. He new exactly what I needed and I didn't have to ask.I am so thankful to Abba God for His unfailing love and provision. I am thankful for my parents and that they have been together for 26 yrs now, for my sister, my church body, friends and for the many people I have been able to reach through my missionary work.

Bill, we saw your post and wanted to share a recent experience. Our son (Sully) was selected to be a Gap kid’s finalist for their open casting call. They flew us out to San Francisco for a photo shoot. We prayed for God's purpose in this. He showed us during the photo shoot when Sully asked for Big Daddy Weave to play while they took his picture. It was amazing to hear "Only Jesus" blaring throughout the Gap studio. It was great to see our 5 year old son's music selection witness to a group of people in the fashion industry. So, we are very thankful for the unexpected journey to San Fran in which God used us to show himself in a place where we all least expected. We can only hope that the music may have touched just one person in that studio. P.S.
